Kingdom Realities (Part 3) By Rev. Lanre Oluseye

Kingdom Realities (Part 3) By Rev. Lanre Oluseye
Ministering: Rev. Lanre Oluseye
Topic: Kingdom Realities: Self-Governance
Text: Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)
If you seek God’s kingdom, you may not need to ask for your daily bread because the natural outcome of seeking God’s kingdom is that we don’t have to seek things.
Jesus showed us the priority of prayer (Matthew 6:9–13) – we adore our Father, we establish His kingdom on earth, we ask for our needs, then we ask for His forgiveness….
The Kingdom of God is every space that God created.
The Kingdom of God is
– righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Romans 14:17)
– invisible. It is not a physical place; it is within you. (Luke 17:20,21)
– can only be accessed through salvation (John 3:3)
The kingdom of heaven is the culture and value system of heaven.
It is possible to be in the kingdom of God through salvation, and not give the kingdom of heaven expression – allowing the kingdom of heaven to influence your life.
Matthew 6:10 (KJV) – Thy will be done IN earth – God’s will being done first in the man God created from the dust of the earth. Without His will being done in earth (you), it is difficult for His will to be done on earth. God made man and put him in charge (have dominion over) the earth.
Self governance is therefore important so our lives can give full expression of the kingdom of heaven on earth.
God did not give man dominion over another man, but over himself. Govern yourself.
1. Take full ownership for your choices. Be responsible over yourself. Have self-control. Have the humility to know that you can also make bad choices. Take ownership for your countenance – choose to be happy.
2. Take full responsibility for your actions. You cannot blame someone else for your outcomes. Be self governed. (The 4 Lepers chose to take action – II Kings 7:3-5)
3. Adopt values that govern your life – Proverbs 16,32, Proverbs 25:28. Some things must be off-limits for you. Have boundaries that you never cross (Proverbs 6:27). You are the Governor of your earth (you).
Check your language, mind your vocabulary. The language you speak is the first way we know who your colonizer is. The fruit of the Spirit should be expressed in your language (Galatians 5:22,23).
Our native language is the language of tongues – in the Spirit. Speaking in tongues is the restoration of our heavenly language. Pray in tongues often.
Genesis 2:4,5 – Order is the sign to know someone who has allowed the kingdom of heaven to have dominion on the earth. Is your life a bush or a garden? Put some order in your life. Order brings increase and is critical for growth.
Whatever you don’t intentionally order in your life, will fail.
We will see His will done ON earth when we allow His will IN earth.
Prayer- Father, help me not to speak the language of unbelief. Let my language communicate the culture of the Kingdom that I represent. Help me to govern this earth (me) effectively. Amen
