Topic: The Transcendent Life
Text: I Corinthians 15:55 (KJV), Hebrews 2:14,15 (NIV)

Death is an uncomfortable subject but in Hebrews 2:15 we see that people who are afraid of death are all their lives subject to bondage. Christians should not accept such low-resolution of thinking.

The life that Jesus came to give us is Zoe – the God-kind of life – life abundantly. That is the zone we must operate from.

Everything flawed is imperfect but not everything imperfect is flawed. ‘Perfect’ is not adjustable but ‘excellence’ can have a next level. The next level of a thing is hidden in its prevailing excellence.

The garden of Eden was excellent but not perfect. That is why Adam had to cultivate it. No matter how beautiful what you have is, you must understand that it may be excellent but not perfect. No system or person is perfect. The completion of you is in other people. Imperfection is a necessity of the human condition.

Salvation is not the goal, dominion is (Genesis 1:26). Salvation is an important means to a more meaningful end. We should target dominion not just being saved.

Death was introduced in the garden of Eden. As soon as man fell, he died, not a physical death but a state of compromise which is the lowest resolution of the human and spiritual condition. When you get born again, you get back to the full, highest resolution that transcends all that you are.

You must understand the fact of the reality of certainties in the world. It is unintelligent to be afraid of certainty. Certainties include imperfections, disappointment, pain, loss, and death.

Facts are not designed to be solved, problems are designed to be solved. You accept a fact and work around it and then you solve problems. You cannot be afraid of anything certain. If death is sure, what kind of person ought you to be? The only response to certainty is preparation and strategy, not fear (I Corinthians 15:55).

Hebrews 2:15 – You will never manifest in your highest resolution if you don’t put death in perspective. Once you transcend the limits of death you have become a god.

I Corinthians 15:31 – Once you understand that you die daily, dying once cannot intimidate you because you’ve died many times already.

Jeremiah 1:4,5 (KJV), Ecclesiastes 6:3-6 (KJV), Ecclesiastes 4:2,3 (NKJV, NIV, NLT), II Peter 3:8 (NIV, NLT, ESV, BSB, KJV)

Ecclesiastes 10:4 (NIV) – You will do better in any moment if you can find tranquility. There is nothing that is not manageable. You cannot draw your highest meaning from the perfect state of things. Perfection is an illusion. Paul tried unsuccessfully to solve a fact; a thorn given to him (II Corinthians 12:7-10). God has given us the brain to intelligently respond to facts, He will not do it for us. Reality is a partial representation of truth.

Freedom without rules and protocol is a vice. Freedom is the absence of necessity, constraint and coercion. In a world without rules, no matter how free they are, they define their own bondage every day.

In Christ Jesus, the liberties we have are God’s idea about how to navigate on earth. God’s instructions are validated fit for our experience. Slavery in itself is a necessity in the human condition. Freedom without slavery (rules, protocol) is impossible. True freedom is the ability to choose what enslaves you (Romans 6:17,18). We have been called to freedom but with rules and protocol (Matthew 11:28-30). Attainment without responsibility is a cheap crime. The sense of mission, urgency and thoroughness is needed in every area of life. You should walk within the protocol of your kingdom and function according to design.

The opposite of life is not death but purposelessness and meaninglessness.

Jeremiah 1:5 – There are dimensions to life that transend our reality.
1. Pre-womb existence. The day you were created is not the day you were born.
2. Womb – a child in the womb can fulfil its destiny while still in the womb (Ecclesiastes 4:3).
3. Post-womb (life).
4. Post-life (eternity).

The credibility of life is superior to the longevity of it. There are 2 types of life we must embrace

– Bended time – How things will look in the future. Legacy-thinking. In bended time you see the real essence of things. Always pause and audit what you’re experiencing (II Peter 3:8).

– Real time – How things look at the moment. Opportunity-thinking.

You must understand the partnership between your spirit and your brain. Job 32:8 – This spirit is in every man, born again or not.

The future is about you going into the world as a minister with the motto – “Contact Without Contamination”. No more running from evil. You stay in the culture and engage. Psalm 23:5 – There’s a food you will never taste if you’re uncomfortable sitting down on the same table with evil. Evil will defer to you for direction. God is sharing wisdom for the church to take its rightful place in the culture.

Genesis 41:28-32 – There was nothing anyone could do to prevent the 7 years of famine. It was certain. No prayer could change it. But with insight and revelation and strategic positioning, they could prepare for what was coming.

The future is coming with
1. The owners of the future
2. The casualties of the future
3. The slaves of the future

Acts 17:26, Romans 8:24, Romans 14:23, Hebrews 11:6 –
We’re always in a journey of knowing God. There will always be dimensions in God that you’re going to have to believe – which is a testament to imperfection. You can’t depend on the perfection of sight.

We do everything in hope. Our entire life is a risk. It’s unintelligent not to appreciate risks.

The purpose of thinking is to ensure that your ideas die and you don’t ever die. (Not a physical but tangible death) You must keep restarting so that your brand lives on. Don’t be afraid of being in zero. Life always restarts from zero.

You will live long but not forever. How prepared and strategic are you? You need to begin to manifest at your highest level now. You cannot be surrendered to and governed by the pettiness of the material world. God has saved you to be transcendent.

Déjà vu – Building from the familiar.

Vuja de – Building from unfamiliarity. Being present in this life but not of this life.

Matthew 24:22 – The form of this world is passing away, what is your strategy?

– Understand that you can not focus without understanding that focus is a sacrifice. Everytime you focus, you kill/forgo some things. New and old do not mix. Newness will come, your work is to renew the wineskin to accommodate the new (Luke 5:37,38, Hebrews 8:13). Once you accept a new commitment you have to audit the old to make room for the new commitment. In this season, be razor-sharp in your focus. Have zero energy for distraction.Play is over. Something is at stake every time. Be bold to practice elimination (of people and places) to enter into your Kairos moments. This is the key to newness. (Acts 17:26)

– Your spiritual condition is your greatest asset in this season. More will be revealed to you than you study and discover. The future belongs to revelation.
Your only zone of expression is to be in bended time and to be in deep time.

– Deep time – To be before time, in time and after time, at the same time.

Mission is timeless but methods must change in response to changing times, changing generations and changing markets. You can’t be so loyal to what’s working and forget it’s going to change. Audit the people and places in your life.

Opportunities are always gravitating towards you. You are on God’s errand, He equips you with resources and clarity. You need to position yourself to receive what God brings to you.
Psalm 23:6 – Goodness and mercy follows you ALL the days of your life. Goodness and mercy is an entity accountable to God to answer how it chased you. It must not return to God void (Jeremiah 3:14). God is permanently chasing you with everything you need.

Believers, however, are hustling – chasing goodness and mercy. You don’t pursue dreams, you position for them. Be still and receive. Stop moving around so you don’t continue missing goodness and mercy. Stop looking for what is not missing.

Don’t be shocked at what’s normal. Don’t be scared of death, pain or loss. You cannot hate darkness; it is a fact. You work around it. Mature to a bigger place. God in you is the hope of society (Malachi 3:18). Stay in the integrity of God’s word – you will be directed. God will show you the next level of your market.

It’s the rise of the church and entrepreneurs and innovators are the leaders of it, instructed deeply by the five-fold ministry but going into the culture to manifest – contact without contamination.

Prayer: You will never be clueless, you will never be stranded, you will always know what to do , you will always see the what, the why, the how and the next. Amen..
