Topic: Manifesting the Supernatural
Text: Job 33:14 (NKJV)
God created man as a supernatural being. The term “supernatural” comes from two words: super and natural. “Natural” refers to something normal, while “supernatural” refers to something that elevates us beyond the natural.
1 Corinthians 2:9 (NKJV), God created man as a supernatural being because He needed someone who could access both the supernatural and the physical realms (Genesis 1:1-27, NKJV).
When God created the world, He said, “Let there be light.” In this context, light means order. What God was essentially saying was, “Let there be order.” Light shines in darkness. Nobody pays attention to the source of light when everything is bright, but in darkness, the light becomes significant.
We call Him Elohim, setting Him apart as the one true God. Genesis 2:7 (NKJV) shows that God made man from the earth so man could serve as His medium and image on earth.
Matthew 4:8 (NKJV) reminds us that whatever we have dominion over ultimately belongs to God, for He owns us.
When man sinned, he lost access to God and the throne of grace but retained access to other spiritual beings. However, what man did not lose was dominion. When God gave His Son Jesus to die for us, access to God was restored. As believers, we download or call forth things from the supernatural realm to the physical realm.
(2 Corinthians 11:4; John 16:33; Luke 1:33; John 12:24; 2 Corinthians 3:18; John 5:19; John 9:6; Genesis 2:8; Mark 14:50-51; Hebrews 4:16, NKJV).
God invites us to come boldly to the throne of grace at any time. When He said this, He didn’t specify a schedule, meaning we have unrestricted access.
Whoever loses bios (earthly life) will find Zoe (divine life).
God understands our infirmities. He is with us in our trials, our processes, and even in our triumphs.
When God takes the natural, He breathes the super into it (John 14:10, NKJV).
Prayer is essential, but we must ask whether what we are seeking was given to us by the Father (John 5:25, NKJV). When miracles occur, we need to understand their source so we can replicate them.
All sounds are not equal. When the angel told Mary she would bear Jesus, she responded with a sound of submission and alignment. Genesis 3:8 (NKJV) reveals that there is a difference between voice and sound. When God interacts with man, He often does so through sound.
The Holy Spirit came as a sound to the first Adam.
Acts 2:2 (NKJV) describes how the Holy Spirit came as a sound during Pentecost.
John 5:26-27 (NKJV) reminds us that man, not God, is the enemy of the devil. God’s ultimate purpose is to redeem and elevate man.
(Jude 1:6; John 12:31, NKJV).
