Message Title: It’s A Love Thing
The love of God is predicated on God’s character and person. His love predates your actions, inactions, reactions and responses. The Bible says God is love.
We are spiritual beings having physical experiences. Your spirituality must show in everything you do and everywhere you go. Many of us spend most of our time in places where we earn income (place of work or places of business).
The early church was not designed to be a welfare station. It is a place you get strengthened to be productive and help others. Pity is not a strategy for progress.
Thriving organizations don’t pay you for your time. They pay you for value. As a Christian, you should not expect payment for time when you don’t solve any problem. Have a relevant skill. There’s a level of knowledge of wisdom that is required (Proverbs 24:13-14). It is important that we understand wisdom, knowledge and how the workplace works.
What do you do when there’s hostility in your workplace?
How do you handle it as a believer?
In an hostile workplace, behave yourself wisely and perform everywhere they send you like David. Even when he was demoted, he behaved himself wisely and the Lord was with him (1 Samuel 18:5-14).
Ecclesiastes 10:4 (AMPC) says when the temper of the ruler rises against you, do not leave the place.
At times, when you stay in an environment when things are not going your way, you have the proclivity of becoming bitter. Watch out for the root of bitterness.
Bitter people always find their self hanging and it often leads to their demise or destruction.
