Message Text: John 2:1-5
We live in the day and times were many people have created many excuses why they cannot have a deeper relationship with God. But God desires to have a deep fellowship with his children. A relationship with God opens you up to realms of the supernatural that gives you unparalleled access. God is still in the business of doing miracles.
And Mary the mother of Jesus in our text, help us to understand that there is a part of “doing” by the beneficiary of any miracle.
My challenge with the Church is not that we do not hear good messages, the problem has always been our lack of strategy. It is not enough to hear the word of God; you have to consciously learn the strategies of applying God’s word to produce the results you desire. God can work through the supernatural as much as the product of your brain.
The brain is a muscle, if you don’t use it, it will deteriorate. For your family career and business to attain the heights you dream of, you need strategy.
IDENTIFY AND CLARIFY.
Where are you, and how do you get there? A lot of people in the body of Christ live in the realm of deception. They delude themselves with thinking of themselves in ways that do not reflect the truth of who they are. You must identify and clarify who you are, where you are now, where you are going and what you need to do to get there, if you do not observe this minimum, it will be difficult to outline the steps on how to achieve there.
In order for you to be strategic, there are things you must confront. Stop borrowing visions. You must learn strategic thinking.
Strategic thinking is a process of thought use in the process of achieving your goals.
WHAT YOU NEED TO THINK STRATEGICALLY
1. Identify the tools you need for your analysis. What are your opportunities, what are your threats, what are you strengths and weaknesses?
2. Ask questions. Questions are the life blood of strategy. You must be able to interact with a plethora of people across different backgrounds. You must become intentionally curious. You must ask questions about what success means to you. To think strategically you must be able to ask the right questions, not only of yourself, but of your environment generally.
3. There is a way to speak strategically. If Joseph did not know how to speak to a king, he would not have become a prime minister. Be intentional about your language. Your authenticity does not exclude personal development.
4. Act Strategically. You must declutter your life. Favour, mercy, grace will open doors for you, but its strategy that will keep you there.
