Topic; Build it on the Rock
Text; Matthew 7:24-27
Build your family on the rock, we do not marry for love, we marry for God, kingdom and duty. Your marriage transcends you.
What does God want from our union (Malachi 2:15)
What God is looking for from your union is Godly offspring, every other thing is yours to enjoy.
Remain loyal to the wife of your youth, loyalty does not start from the experience, it starts from the heart, so guard your heart, the gates to your heart are your eyes and your ears. Godly parents are the foundation of Godly children (Psalms 11:3)
Raise your children right
It is not impossible for ungodly parents to raise Godly seeds, but It is easier for Godly parents to raise Godly seeds.
For if the foundation is the destroyed, what can the righteous do?
Foundation is everything, it is key
Authority is rooted in identity.
Whosoever builds their house on the rock, the rock becomes the foundation.
To produce Godly seeds, you must prioritize spiritual growth, spiritual knowledge is not the same as spiritual growth, many people know revelation but are not growing. Love Jesus and be like Jesus
Your growth is not measured by what you know, but by how you do and behave because by their fruit you shall know them. It’s time to prioritize spiritual growth. It will help you birth and raise Godly seeds in the future.
Parameters of spiritual maturity (Ephesians 4:11-16)
1. Commitment to unity of the faith
2. Knowledge of the Son of God
3. Statue of the fullness of Christ
4. Have experiential knowledge of God.
