Topic: On the Wings of Prophecy
We live in a very noisy generation; something is always trending. It’s a strategy Satan has adopted to keep believers from keeping their gaze on the promises of God. Satan is not more powerful than the believer but leverages the ignorance of the believer. The power of a prophecy is in the ability of the recipient to believe it, that is why Satan tries to keep you away from paying attention to God’s Word (Matt. 22:29). Proverbs 4:20-22 (NKJV, MSG) says God’s Word is life and health. In a noisy generation, you have the responsibility of tuning your ears towards God’s Word. Concentrate! After God talks, every other person is a noisemaker, especially when they are against the counsel of God. Psalm 119:105 says no matter what a generation sells, if it is not aligned with God’s will for your life, don’t buy it.
Isaiah 55:11 says every believer has a prophecy designed to propel them into God’s purpose. In every prophecy is potency to bring it to pass. The prophecy does not come to analyse but to change your situation. No prophecy fails; every prophecy has an appointed time—whether 400 years (Israel), 25 years (Abraham), or one day (2 Kings 7:1). Though it tarries, wait intently expectant. No affliction, delay or turbulence can cancel a prophecy. Stop looking to men for what only God can do. Stop trying to analyze how it will come to pass (Rom. 4:19, Luke 5:5).
Your posture to prophecy should be four-fold: Believe it (Luke 1:45). War with it (I Tim. 1:18, Jer. 33:3). Wait for it (Hab. 2:3). Speak it boldly (Matt. 12:36).
Prophecies for you: Port Harcourt is your good land (Deut. 8:7-9). You have entered your season of manifestation (Josh. 21:45), your season of open doors (Rev. 3:8), and your glorious future (Job 8:7, Rom. 8:18, Isa. 60:3,11). Amen!
