Army of David is the ministry arm of the church that takes benevolence to the untouched and vulnerable in our society, uplifting the various sects of the vulnerable communities to feel the heart of Christ in love. Members set aside monthly contributions, based on the leading of the Holy Spirit, to contribute. We are convinced that giving is Christlike in nature, and our partnership is indeed a privileged, divine exercise.

Our Story — Established 2006
Army of David is a Ministry in House on The Rock Church Port Harcourt, established in 2006 to reach the unreached and touch the untouched in our society with the love of Christ — extending the message of hope beyond the four walls of the sanctuary.
Impact — What We’ve Done So Far
Widows Outreach
Made instant owners of 3 mini buses and 3 tricycles (Keke Napep). Served over 2,200 widows in 54 communities across Rivers State and beyond.
Widows Empowerment
Turned widows into business owners with deep freezers, generators, grinding machines, sewing machines, wheelbarrows, coolers, and instant mini credit loans for trade.
Medical Screening & Care
Free medical, eye, and teeth care programmes, including medical outreaches to church members and communities across the state.
Orphanages & Special Homes
Supported 14 children’s homes with food, clothes, drugs, and scholarships — including special-needs schools, rehabilitation centres, and elderly homes across Port Harcourt.
